On today’s show we heard all about the woman in Reading who makes it a habit to “gatecrash” funerals.

Apparently she considers it her duty to attend as many church masses as possible.

Well that’s fair enough you might feel but then, although having no invitation, she makes her way to the reception afterwards.

In one case she even got one of the mourners to give her a lift!

She then mingles with, and chats to the other guests and reportedly tucks in to the buffet “like there’s no tomorrow” sometimes filling a box to eat later.

Now that has to be going too far.

And also going too far, I would suggest was the Italian man, jilted by his girlfriend – but not just jilted, she had the effrontery to leave him with a pile of ironing and unwashed dishes.

Well our “hero” didn’t hesitate – no siree, he traced her to a pub, bundled her into his car, took her back to his home where under threat he made her wash the dishes and do the ironing.

Unfortunately for him, one of her friends alerted the police who have now charged him with kidnapping.

Let that be a lesson to him!
