Tonight’s album of the week was from The Big Moon – Love In The 4th Dimension. Yes it’s been out about six months and I have been playing the odd track here and there during that time, but I’ve had a chance to get to grips with the whole thing now and it’s a great listen.

Big Moon - Love In The 4th Dimension

Also notable for being the only real band nominated for this year’s Mercury Music Prize (although I have to admit my interest in that has waned over previous years).

Tonight’s playlist:

Sparks – Edith Piaf (Said It Better Than Me)
Big Moon – Cupid
Morrissey – Spent The Day In Bed
Honeyblood – Swell Love
Brix and the Extricated – Valentino
Adwaith – Lipstic Coch
Wolf Alice – Beautifully Unconventional
Big Moon – Silent Movie Susie
Fews – Metal
Darling Buds – Our Lips Are Sealed
Dream Wife – Fire
Protomartyr – My Children
Chatrooms – Homebody
Big Moon – Zeds
Foals – Mountain At My Gates
Garbanotas Bosistas – Last Summer’s Day
Northside – My Rising Star
Mega City Four – Who Cares?
Mexico 70 – Wonderful Lie
Blab Happy – Down
Thousand Yard Stare – Wideshire Two
Bettie Serveert – Palomine
Family Cat – Airplane Gardens
