Basildon Town kick off their Premier Division campaign with a trip to Bishops Stortford Swifts. The visitors last season achieved a Division One and Senior League Cup double and last weekend won the Senior Challenge Cup on a penalties. Bishops Stortford Swifts are early leaders, sitting top after only one game played and will be looking to continue their leadership by claiming the three points on offer.
Catholic United also came up from Division One and opened their campaign last weekend with a win over Leigh Ramblers. They visit Frenford who will be looking to post their first win of the season having opened their campaign with a goalless draw last weekend at Kelvedon Hatch.
The local derby between White Ensign and Rayleigh Town should be a tight affair, with local bragging rights at stake as well as the need to post some points on the board as both teams lost their opening fixture last Saturday.
