Far From The Norm’s ‘Da Native’

As part of the Sadlers Wells’ performances at the Latitude was a commissioned piece by them called ‘Da Native‘, performed by the group Far From The Norm. I was able to record a conversation with Victoria Shulungu, their Artist/Rehearsal Director, during my time at the Latitude Festival for Phoenix FM.

During the conversation we talked about their performance of ‘Da Native‘ during the festival, how much they enjoyed performing on the Waterfront stage, the differences of the interaction with the crowd there and the impact of their work culturally.
