Tuesday’s show was full of woe!
Well not really but we did hear about the man who managed to trap himself inside an ATM machine.
You know I always thought there was a little man in there doling out the dosh and now we know I was right all along!
In this case it was an engineer who somehow managed to lock himself in the vault below the machine.
He was stuck there for more than two hours but his cries for help were thought to be part of some kind of joke so he finally resorted to attaching notes pleading for help, to the money being dispensed.
Keeping to the theme of tragedy, later in the show Margaret Mills joined me to relate the tale of the SHIRE HALL tragedy which occurred in Chelmsford in February 1856.
