My album of the week was a great new find for me – Perth (in Australia)’s PSYCHEDELIC PORN CRUMPETS and their new offering, High Visceral, Pt. 2.
While I was hooked in initially by the unusual name (yeah, I’m a sucker for that) the first track that caught by ear was the wonderful KingCrimsonesque “Gurzle” and the rest of the tracks followed in the same vain – some less manic, reminding me of a slightly more proggy Tame Impala.
Going to go and check out Pt. 1 now. Also wondering if this page is going to get more or less hits than usual pages I post, due to the word “porn” in the title. If it works, expect to see more band names like this!
