A challenge I find with my regular Word Up! lyric teasers is not to read the lines in the tempo of the song. Normally it’s not too hard, but this week it wasn’t at all easy:
Um ba ba be, um ba ba be.
De day da – ee day da – that’s okay!*
I didn’t have any such problem with last week’s, which just contained proper words:
My simple heart will live and learn;
I took a chance at the price my soul would burn inside my desire.*
