Hutton FC meet Theo the Wyvern

Children from Hutton FC’s Under 9s team were treated to a free day out, courtesy of Leyton Orient FC and Phoenix FM’s The Orient Hour.

Orient school 1

The young players were in E10 to watch the O’s latest game against Carlisle. They received free entry, refreshments, souvenirs and use of the club’s private Hub Room. They also got to meet some of the players, collect autographs and have their photo taken with Leyton Orient’s mascot Theo the Wyvern!

Phoenix FM’s Steve Roach said, “Leyton Orient is a great place to discover affordable football and get close up to the action, something that is increasingly rare in the Premier League.

“It’s something that The Orient Hour team was very pleased to organise and we’d like to thank the club’s Community Liaison Officer, Howard Gould, for making it such an enjoyable day”.

Hutton’s U9 manager Alex Yip said, “The experience of the day was excellent. The boys were really excited and just couldn’t help themselves trying to get some of the players signature! But I think it was the private room really blow the parents away!”

Phoenix FM and Leyton Orient will be working together in the future to bring more teams to the Brisbane Road ground.
