Kevin Brewis grew up in Hornchurch and his love of theatre started when he visited his first pantomime at the Queen’s Theatre. From a young age Kevin was actively involved in drama groups at Fairkytes Art Centre and performed in productions at the Queen’s Theatre. After training professionally in musical theatre, Kevin has toured all over the world and appeared in West End shows including Grease at the Victoria Palace and One & Only at the Piccadilly Theatre.

Mike Jones spoke to Kevin about coming back to the Queen’s and what to expect from the new production. You can hear the interview again below:

Kevin will be back at the Queen’s Theatre on 8 February to perform an entertaining mix of music and wit from the most popular musicals in Broadway & Beyond. The show comprises of songs from New York’s legendary theatre district, including hits from Oklahoma!, Kiss Me Kate and Miss Saigon and Spamalot.

He says, “Nearly 20 years after leaving college, having worked all over the West End, the UK and abroad, I find myself back where it all began at the Queen’s Theatre.”

Audiences will be captivated with a stunning array of costumes, exhilarating dance routines and the versatility of five musicians that play over a dozen instruments between them. This is a must see for any musical fan!

Broadway and Beyond comes to the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch on Wednesday 8 February at 7.30pm. Tickets range from £16.50 – £23. To purchase tickets call the Box Office on 01708 443333 or book online at queens-theatre.co.uk.
