Cabbage were also infamously noted in some quarters as the only BAND nominated in the BBC’s (getting more and more terrible every year) “Sound” longlist of 15 new artists. But for me, a refreshingly different approach to alternative music – politically charged and quirky lyrics. (Don’t say Carter USM …)
