The away side should have doubled their lead, as Brad Halliday burst forward and his cross found Dunk at the far post to head onto the bar.
Collins’ free-kick found McCallum head which looked to be heading in but for his header to be diverted out for a corner.
Orient grabbed a late equaliser in the fourth minute of injury time, as the ball was clipped into McCallum who was bundled over and the ball dropped to substitute Palmer to strike his half volley which squirmed underneath Norris, to snatch a late point at the death.
