With just two weeks left of 2016 it has been an amazing year for music! A couple weeks ago we looked at all the number 1 singles of the year, so tonight the playlist featured the most streamed songs, artists and albums of 2016!

Drake – One Dance
Drake is at the top stop as the most streamed artist in the UK and the World! One Dance was also the most streamed track and his album Views was the most streamed album.

Justin Bieber – Company
Bieber follows Drake as the 2nd most streamed artist in the UK & Worldwide. His album Purpose was also the 2nd most streamed album in UK & the World.

Rihanna – Work
Being the most streamed female artist in the UK and the World, Rihanna also was the 3rd most streamed UK & Worldwide artist. Her album Anti, was the 3rd most streamed in the UK & Worldwide.

Kanye West – Stronger
Kayne West is the 4th most streamed artist in UK but 5th Worldwide. He is also the 3rd most streamed male in UK but again doesn’t do as well worldwide as he is 4th.

Coldplay – Hymn For The Weekend (ft Beyonce)
Coldplay rounds of the most streamed in the UK at number 5 and also being the 5th male Worldwide, but they beat that in the UK by being 4th.

Rounding off the most streamed female in UK is Queen B at number 5.

Twenty one pilots – Heathens
Twenty One Pilots made the top 5 streamed artists in the world coming in at number 4. Just a position behind they were also 5th most streamed male in UK  but 3rd in the World. Their Album Blurry Face was the 4th most streamed Album in UK and Worldwide.

Sia – Cheap Thrills
Sia is near the top of the list for the females as she was the 2nd most female streamed in the UK but only 3rd in world. Her collaboration with Sean Paul, Cheap Thrills was the 2nd most streamed track in UK and 5th in the World.

Adele has smashed records in the charts but when it comes to streaming she only features in the most streamed female artists where she is 3rd in the UK and 4th in the World.

Ariana Grande – Into you
Ariana Grande seems popular around the World as she was the 2nd most streamed female artist however seems not so popular in the UK as she was only 4th.

The Chainsmokers – Don’t Let Me Down (ft Daya)
