Fantastic to be joined by Simon Sheehan, Simon Cantwell and Paul Nooney (along with his Hofner Bass) from The Solo Beatles today.

The Solo Beatles are a 5 piece band who play the music of John, Paul, George and Ringo after they went their separate ways. Songs like Got My Mind Set On You, My Love, Photograph, Just Like Starting Over, Band On The Run, My Sweet Lord and Imagine. Although the guys were 2 members short today they played us a lovely “stripped down” version of John Lennon’s Imagine. We also heard a couple of live recordings of the band and I challenged Paul’s encyclopaedic knowledge of The Beatles with a short quiz. You can listen to the entire session here –
