I was lucky enough to catch up with a band making the most exciting music in the UK right now. Their recently release ‘Glass Half Empty’ is a banger, not an anthem, for a generation. Fusing grime with George-Benson-style guitar riffs (at last a band bringing guitars back to the the dancefloor!), the mundane with the sublime, the funky with the sick! I can’t big them up enough to everyone I see! Catching the attention of Zane Lowe, Julie Adenuga and recenty, Elton John, Courts are undboutedly carving a place in cannon of great acts from this area!
