This week has a theme, and that is early recordings of some of the greats. So this week, we have an early recording of Charlie Parker playing ‘Cherokee’ –  a tune known for it’s blisteringly fast pace, but taken here quite leisurely. Also some early John Coltrane, Frank Sinatra and Scott LaFaro.
