Council update: Remembrance Day, the Local Development Plan, WHW and Election consultations

Paul Golder attended the weekly press briefing at the Town Hall this morning where Leader of the Council, Cllr Barry Aspinell spoke about the Council’s current plans, including:

– plans for the special WW1 Centenary Remembrance Day in Brentwood
– the Local Development Plan
– update on the William Hunter Way consultation
– a new consultation on All Out Elections (which you can read more about here)

from a Brentwood Accord perspective, Barry also went on to talk about the difficulty in getting the Opposition not to oppose every single thing that the Administration proposes.
