One of my new favourite bands at the moment and definitely my Brummies Du Jour – Superfood were playing at Wolf Alice’s sold-out show at the Portland Arms in Cambridge, and I managed to chat with them before the gig. And amazingly we found a roof garden that we didn’t know existed!

Superfood

Dom, Ryan, Emily and Carl spoke about their forthcoming debut album and life on the road and then treated me (and everyone else there) of course to a fantastic half hour set featuring songs from the recent EP releases and a few yet to be unleashed. It was good to see the venue full up long before the band took to the stage, emphasising their growing reputation as one to watch (and listen to).
