All That Jazz

Hello! My name is Adam and I’m a new presenter on Phoenix, presenting a fantastic new jazz show, All That Jazz. I’ll be playing everything from Big Band classics by the likes of the Count Basie Orchestra to the remarkable improvisations of the great small groups such as those by Miles Davis. I’ll also be playing a selection of soulful vocals by the likes of Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald and a few more cutting-edge tracks from current jazz artists.

I’ll also keep you updated about the jazz that’s going on in the local area. For example this week there are two fantastic local concerts:

Tuesday 21st January, 8pm At Bardswell Social Club, Weald Road, Brentwood, Essex CM14 4TJ. Alan Barnes & Julian Marc Stringle with the Robin Aspland Trio Tickets £13.00 members £10.00

Wednesday 22nd January 8pm at The Chichester’s Tudor Room, Old London Road, Rawreth, Nr. Wickford. SS11 8UE. Derek Nash Quintet with Dave Newton Check out https://essexjazz.co.uk for monthly listings
