With Michelle away this morning it was an unexpected pleasure to sit in on Eat My Brunch.

Part of the pleasure was my guest, Roland Kannor, Managing Director of the Brentwood Brewing Company, who brought in a couple of samples of their newly created beer Plumberry.

A day of celebration has been planned at the brewery this Saturday the 16th November, marking the move to Calcott Hall Farm and bigger premises.  From 11am to 4pm the brewery’s doors will be thrown open to visitors.  At about 11.30am the brewery’s special guest, local MP, Mr Eric Pickles, Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, will perform a ribbon cutting ceremony.

I think I may have to call in on the day to pick up a few bottles of Plumberry – it’s berry nice!
