First up tonight, I was joined by Southend’s Dregs Of Society (l-r Gary, Jason, Jasmine, Robb). Originally formed in 2001, the foursome recently released a compilation of their tracks, the mysteriously titled Great Hits, Shame About the Boat Race. They can be seen playing Chinnerys in Southend this Friday, in what is set to be their last gig – for now… Find them online at Facebook, Reverbnation and, er, MySpace

Next it was the return of Queensburys (l-r Dan, Archie, Tom, George). The foursome joined us in the studio back in March, and also recorded a Creative Session the following month. After a summer spent gigging across Essex and London, the foursome plan to spend the next few months writing and recording new material, a follow-up to their current EP Beneath the Tide, which is out now on CD and download. Click above to listen to the interview (and find out which TV presenter has become a fan after catching them live in Camden) and click below to see them playing live in the studio – more videos will be added shortly! Find them on Facebook, Twitter and Soundcloud.
