It is great that we have a number of people who are regular listeners. Chris lives in Harlow but always listens along with her husband Bob when she can. Tonight Chris came on the phone to talk about taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October despite having never run a half marathon. She will be among 16,000 runners. Chris told us about how important it is to support the work of cancer charities and how her own family have benefitted from the research from the charities over the years. You can support Chris or her daughter Sarah via the links below.

We had a number of extra-ordinary stories tonight. We heard about a wedding that cost the couple just £1 apart from the fees for the licence. We also heard about a farmer near Verona who cuts amazing pictures in his fields even though you need to be in a plane to see them. His latest is off the Pope. How does he do it? There was also a Japanese folding car (!) an American judge ordering a criminal who threated police to wear a notice stating they are an idiot outside the Police station for three hours each day and a woman whose pet chicken swallowed a £300 diamond earring and she has decide to wait until the chicken passes away. They were less charitable in the chat room! There were requests tonight for Michael, Patrick, Rene, Lee and Phyl. The complete listing for tonight’s music is below.
