A Packed Lunch for a spring day

Well the weather may be a bit “iffy” but we managed to get through without it actually raining on us!

No spooks or Frances Clamp this week, but Frances had left me some notes on the history of Billericay Town Football Club which we went through in the second hour of the show. Apart from that it was music all the way with the usual mix of classic hits from the past – like Rainbow, Marvin Gaye, Bob Segar and Free along with some of the latest songs around from people like The Loveable Rogues, Noah and the Whale and The 1975. Some of these were real belters but along with this we had some smooth sounds from the likes of Laura Critchley  and Missy Higgins, all adding up to a real musical feast.

You can listen again here to the history of Billericay’s Town Football Club as researched and provided by Frances Clamp but presented by me: – [audio:https://www.phoenixfm.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Billericay-Town-FC2.mp3|titles=Billericay Town FC]

Right that’s it from me. Back next week, til then keep safe,

Scott
