Playlist for 28 March 2013 (AOTW: David Bowie – The Next Day)

Never thought that I’d enjoy a David Bowie album this much. Sure, he was good in the 70s and bits of the 80s too (I loved Ashes To Ashes first time round, and was enthralled by the video but I also remember the stuf fhe put out in the late 90s and early 00s, and it’s nowhere near as good as this. There are PROPER POP SONGS on this album. Not like today’s pop but PROPER POP. And he’s SIXTY SIX years old, you know.

We also had a live session from NINJA BABY and you can see more about that here.

Tonight’s playlist:

Beat Mark – Move On
British Sea Power – K Hole
Widowspeak – The Dark Age
I Like Trains – Mnemosyne
Dingus Khan – Made A List
Suede – Faultlines

Blindness – Confessions
David Bowie – The Stars (Are Out Tonight)
Haiku Salut – Sounds Like There’s A Pacman Crunching Away At Your Heart
