A complete pleasure to welcome my guests – The Dani Clay Band – to Phoenix FM today. Dani, Scott and Jason together gave a fantastic performance on three tracks live in Phoenix FMs Studio 1.
You can watch these here –
Dani Clay moved from Brentwood at the age of 17 to pursue her music career in London Town. Beginning in a girl RnB group and signed to an independent label who were in partnership with DeathRow Records which took Dani on a colourful journey
Dani has recorded with Jasper Cameron of D.A.R.P studios in Atlanta and Rico Lumpkins of TLC fame. This also lead her to perform at Wembley and has given Dani Clay plenty of experience and plenty of skills.
Another exciting opportunity for Dani and her band was supporting the charity event Oxjam Festival in central London raising money for Africa’s Food Crisis.
In 2011 Dani was an X Factor Boot Camp Contestant and a Top 10 winner for the USA Annual Songwriting Competition.
Dani Clay works extremely hard to push her music, vocals and collaberative skills into many directions as possible, which means sleepless nights, long drives up and down the motorway and just enough pennies to get her around to expose all this.
You can hear the entire interview and session here –
