Another Tuesday and another ONE-2-THREE show. On today’s music packed show we had time to check out a single story from our file of oddball news. Today’s item concerned a new advertising craze sweeping Japan whereby young ladies carry commercial messages on their thighs and receive payment as long as the ad is shown on their legs for at least 8-hours a day. To claim payment the girls mus post pictures of themselves “wearing” the and on their Facebook and Twitter pages or other social media sites. They must also demonstrate that they are over 18 years of age and have at least 20 social network friends. I guess this is a case of one “thighs” fits all! I can think of one or two people who might have space for poster size ads but perhaps things are generally smaller in Japan.
