Brentwood’s historic HERMIT CLUB is back open, after a change of ownership and a major refurbishment, supported by Essex County Council and Brentwood Borough Council.

The club was christened by Brentwood band ARCHETYPE who are so new they don’t even have a website or a Facebook page yet! The band played a couple of songs including the first one, Creeping Up The Back Stairs, which you can see and hear again below:

There were also performances from Amber Herbert, Shoot The Messenger, Cryptic Anger and Amie Gibson. The club’s official Facebook page is here and you can also find out who’s playing on our Events Guide, as and when we get told, of course!
