Essex Cricket Development Gets Green Light

Essex County Cricket Club have completed an agreement with developers MCD for the first phase of the ground development of The Essex County Ground at Chelmsford. The development will start in the next few weeks and bring over 400 new homes, retail units and pedestrian precincts to the areas around the cricket ground.

Paul Golder spoke to Keith Brown, Treasurer of Essex County Cricket Club and Roy Whitehead, Leader of Chelmsford City Council, about the impact the development will have on the club and the town.
