Curveballs 5th December 2012 (with My Heroine and Marbles)

My Heroine (l-r): Alex (drums), Giverny (guitar/vocals), Georgina (bass/vocals), Emma (vocals/guitar).

Tonight I was joined in the studio once again by My Heroine. Since their appearance at Our Creative Sessions marathon in May, the girls have toured the UK with a new line-up and have just released their new EP, Driven to Distraction, which we heard in its entirety tonight alongside a sneak preview of new track ‘Desperation’. The ladies can next be seen live at Aces & Eights in Tuffnell Park on December 14th as part of ‘Rockers for Knockers’, raising funds for breast cancer research.

Their official site is www.myheroineofficial.com and you can also find them on Facebook and Twitter.

Earlier in the week I also chatted to Marc from London newcomers Marbles. The rocking foursome are set for a busy few months, and are set to release their debut EP on December 31st. Before that however, they can be seen playing live at Surya in north London on December 13th. Find them online at Facebook and SoundCloud.
