After a rather successful weekend for our local sides, the draw has been made for the 3rd qualifying round of the FA Cup.  The ties are

Cambridge City  v  Billericay Town

East Thurrock United v  Maidstone United

South Park or Harefield United  v  Brentwood Town or Maldon & Tiptree

Ties to be played on Saturday 6th October.

Should Brentwood Town prevail in their replay away at Maldon & Tiptree tomorrow evening, it sadly won’t be a trip to see Cartman, Kenny, et al.  Instead it would be a day out at Reigate, where this particular South Park (should they themselves get through) are based.   Ah well …..
