On a beautiful September evening I was delighted to be joined in the studio by Rt. Revd. John Wraw, Bishop of Bradwell. We talked about what the Bishop of Bradwell actually does, how he was appointed to the post and also about his experiences sailing during his sabbatical. He also told us in his youth he was a Genesis fan, so we played Ball of Confusion. The Bishop also talked about his wide experience of ministry, as a curate in rural Hereforshire, a Vicar in South Yorkshire in a former mining community and as Archdeacon in Wiltshire. To find his definition of the work of an Archdeacon, you need to listen to the interview below!

We also heard tracks from Adele, Rick Braun & Boney James, Coldplay, Harry Chapin, Emile Sande and others. We also heard some odd news stories, including one of a Chinese mechanic who for £6,000 has built a replica of a Lamborghini! Join me next week when I am joined by Peter Thomas from the charity Harvest for the Hungry who will be talking about their appeal.
