April’s an absolute shower, May BAS better….

Final weekend of April and with the drout on, and the rain falling like you wouldn’t believe, you maybe excused ironically , if I splash out the odd sarky comment.  I’ve been off sick this week, so have had to enjoy or was that endure, the delights of daytime TV and the struggles of concocting a nice lunch each day.

So, twas good to be back in the studio, chewing the cud over what has been going on over the last seven days, and squeezing in some great music – in particular we played two from Kylie, as she has the big task of headlining Proms in the Park this year… so we played ‘All time Lovers’ and ‘I believe’, to wish her well.

My Comedy show Pick

Phil Jupitus – 29th Apr 2012 • Lyric Hammersmith

Phill will be headlining the Sunday night comedy slot at the Lyric Hammersmith alongside Chris McCausland and MC Richard Herring. The ‘Main House’ at the Lyric Hammersmith accommodates 550 people.

Sean Lock “Work in Progress”  – 30th Apr 2012 • Pleasance Theatre

You’ll recognise Sean Lock from the many comedy and quiz shows that he appears on on the telly, including “QI”, “8 Out Of 10 Cats” and “Argumental”. But now he’s returning to stand-up with a series of “Work in Progress”

Bill Bailey’s Qualmpeddler – 3rd May 2012 • Leicester Square Theatre

Bill’s new show “Qualmpeddler” is all about his ‘qualms’. Bill has many qualms, chiefly about the modern world, nuclear power, dentists, rare planetary alignments, the spice girls and the Mayan End of Days prophecy.

Music gig/event:
