I covered lots of local news stories such as the latest update on the new school planned for Sawyers Hall Lane in Brentwood. I also gave a detailed weather forecast (there’s a much better outlook now!) and gave information about some events and opportunities coming up in the near future.
Health Feature of The Week – Fibromyalgia
“FMS (fibromyalgia (fi-bro-my-Al-juh) syndrome) is a widespread musculoskeletal pain and fatigue disorder for which the cause is still unknown. Fibromyalgia means pain in the fibrous tissues in the body.
Most patients with fibromyalgia say that they ache all over. Their muscles may feel like they have been pulled or overworked. Sometimes the muscles twitch and at other times they burn. Born in Essex and studied at Brentwood School, Lauren Selby is now not only a Level 3 Squash Coach but a professional athlete! Tricia Sharpe from Recoil Twisters came in to speak to me about the whole story behind the new trampoline and activity centre that opened last year! It has been such a long and tough journey to bring about the birth of the wonderful facility we have up at Warley.
