Just when I thought I’d done my final show from the current studios, I had a last minute opportunity to do an extra show this evening in place of BRENTWOOD’S ONLY ALTERNATIVE.

I took the opportunity to play some absolutely fabulous music including some tracks by local artists.

The 87 were recent guests on TONY SMITH’s SUNDAY LUNCH programme when they played a number of songs live. Tonight I played one of their new songs,  “ONLY YOU”. If you haven’t heard this song you are really missing a treat. You can listen again by going to the SUNDAY LUNCH SHOW PAGE on our website.

And you really won’t want to miss DREW-LEVI HUNTSMAN and JAE FROST when they join me on my PACKED LUNCH show on Saturday 18th February. I used the opportunity tonight to give a sneak preview of one of their newest songs, “SAVE YOU FROM ME” which Drew and Jae have been belting out in pubs and clubs across Essex and London. So make sure to be on parade on Saturday 18th February at 12 noon!

On top of this we had a wonderful mixture of  current material with a heap of sensational classics from the recent past. Interesting to compare “DOMINO”, the current song by Jessie J with Katy Perry’s “CALIFORNIA GURLS”. Are they similar? And do we care? They are both great tracks!
