Hi,

My name is Charles and I’m a new member of the Phoenix Fm team. Yesterday (sunday 13th nov 2011) I presented the first instalment of ‘ScoutShout’. I introduced the main intentions of the show: to exhibit the fun, challenging and adventurous activities that local scouts get up to, talk about the values and purpose of scouting, let people know what scouting is all about and inform anyone who is keen to get involved.

Next sunday I will be at ‘Wintac’ (a big winter activities camp at Thriftwood in Brentwood) interviewing scouts from all corners of Essex as they take part in a variety of exciting things like climbing, abseiling, archery, rifle shooting etc.
