I was extremely over excited, as were all my female friends when I got the chance to interview TV’s Mr Nick Knowles.

Nick started off the chat by telling me the history behind why BRENTWOOD is BRENTWOOD. It was originally called Burnt Wood. Did you know that? You do now!

Nick has a new show on HOME called Nick Knowles’ Original Features, weeknights at 10pm from Monday 17th October.

Step back in time with Nick Knowles as he helps homeowners unlock the genealogy and design DNA of their properties, by getting into their roof spaces and behind their walls, to guide them in the restoration of traditional features.

Nick is a very interesting man, he not only a TV presenter, hes just written a film and has plenty of other projects under way too, plus history is his favorite subject. What more could I ask for in a guest (or a husband… sigh).

I’ve been hoping to interview him since I started at Phoenix and as you will hear I think I sound a little nervous!
