Hey its the fever of Summer…

Well, what a lovely day…twas quite warm in the studio and as the show progressed it was clear the day was destined to get better; weather wise. It also be came clear from a few comments in the Phoenix FM Chat room, that I need to really get my haircut, as people are guessing my age right and confusing me with either Joey Essex or Beaker!!

It a week of not getting what people wanted and the odd splash of fraud scandals, plus the 2012 Olympic ticket debacle – As we cringe ourselves through a week of ‘Britain’s got the odd one of two Talent’; I think thats what its called. We hear the news that Simon Cowell has called the Police  in to investigate a claim of dodgyness, again. Maybe they should investigate to see if the show has any real talent. I also noted some Take That fans aren’t happy, as they haven’t got their tickets from an online tickets website, so as sad as we feel for these people, I thought why not make this weeks TWOFERs a way of helping, so we played two from Take that – ‘Greatest day’ & ‘The Flood’.

My Comedy standup show picks for this week were……

Open Air Theatre: Jimmy Carr’s “Laughter Therapy”

5Th June 2011
