Don’t put your daughter on the stage!

It was Noel Coward week on Stage Door tonight and it was a fascinating look at the composers, actor, writer, director and great character.  There really was a lot to find out so at some point we will have to have Noel Coward 2 or Noel Coward the Sequel!

Thank you so much to my very special guest Richard Sisson, otherwise known as ‘The Widow’ from renowned cabaret act Kit and the Widow.  Richard has had a fantastic career not only performing with Kit for nearly thirty years, but also as a composer with credits that include The History Boys.  He has also been responsible for arranging the music as and performing in the current touring production of Cowardy Custard which is coming to the Civic Theatre, Chelmsford 25th-28th May. Performances are at 7.45pm and Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. Box Office Tel: 01245 606505.  www.chelmsford.gov.uk/theatres. For more information about Kit and the Widow visit: www.kitandthewidow.com.  Meanwhile you can listen to the interview by clicking on the link below.
