Craig Phillips & Linda Robson Talk to Phoenix FM

Yesterday I made a real fool of myself, well no more than normal I hear you cry. I was over the moon to interview DIY Expert Craig Phillips who has a new series on Home called Celebrity DIY plus another series If Its Broke, Fix It. The first star of the show is, Birds of  a Feather actress Linda Robson.

I am a fan of Linda’s because like Pauline Quirk she remains very down to earth and not showbiz. She is also a brilliant actress. I remember watching her in series such as Shine on Harvey Moon but shes probably best known for the BBC comedy Birds of a Feather. Linda said there will be a stage version touring next year – I mentioned Brentwood Theatre and that it had a bar!

So started the interview with Craig Phillips and I totally wandered off in thought! I am a sucker for a Liverpool accent and basically starting thinking about John Bishop again. I know, when will I learn. Craig’s voice was mind blowing! As you will from the interview, I was totally put off, had gone red and flustered.

Both Linda and Craig were a joy to talk too, very funny, will post up interview shortly.

George Adey came in with Alan Green to talk about flying. Alan is a local Brentwood resident and talked about his life as a pilot and why we shouldn’t be afraid to fly. Still not convinced but he offered to take me up in his micro-lite which I might just do and record myself screaming.

George then mentioned that he would like to date my Mum. I said to George where would you take her and he said “out for a lovely meal and then, later, I would give her something that she wont forget”. Bryan Powis started laughing and I went into hysterics. Played the recording to my Mum who also laughed, Dad.. well he wasn’t laughing so much!

Great week with Bryan on Breakfast Show covering for the sexy Emma Sweeney. Bryan and I had good handovers and chuckled throughout the week. Catch Bryan on Re-Amped.

The sun is out, whack on the sun screen folks, Brentwood is hotting up.
