Hattie read out her own Christmas poem, see below, and then went on to describe some Christmas traditions.

Hannah M told us a little about the history of the Christmas card.

Christmas time is coming,

Santa's on his way,

with his magic Reindeer,

dragging Santa's sleigh.

The people are preparing,

for this fun, special day.

People buy presents,

for those near and far away.

But sometimes we forget,

the reason that we all

slip gifts beneath a tree,

that towers up tall.

The true meaning of this day,

which you must remember,

the day Christ was born,

near the end of December.
