The Bish is paid a visit from an old soul boy: 22nd November 2007

A couple of weeks ago I asked on air for you to call in or email if you wanted to share any old memories of where you used to go to in the seventies and eighties to enjoy the then new soul releases & what your favourite tracks were 'back in the day' as they say.

I was only meant as a quick chat on air by telephone but regular 'Soul Inspired' listener John Ali of Chelmsford decided to go one step further & asked me if he could guest on the show & have some of his old favourites played. Well why not? John has supported the show since he was driving through Billericay back in February 2006 & just happed to hear this show when we were broadcasting our 28 day service licence (or RSL) before we acquired our full time licence and has listened in, emailed & phoned in ever since.

So I'd just like to say thank you very much to John for coming in and some of his playlist is listed below. If YOU would like to take part in the show - you could be an everyday fan, a DJ, a musician, singer - get in touch & email me c/o radio@phoenixfm.com and you too could be on 'Soul Inspired'.

All the best until next week!
