Soul Inspired show playlist 15th November 2007Well after the Soul Belly Club madness of last week we had a slightly (but only just) more mellow show this evening. I gave the Double Play a rest for one week & decided to feature four tracks from a classic soul album instead. Namely, Otis Redding's 1965 opus Otis Blue: Otis Redding Sings Soul. I realised I missed a trick last week with the Barry White feature as I haven't featured Sir Barry on the Love God Lounge for a little while so decided to have two from him in the Love God Lounge. Nick Field of Curveballs arrived in time for his weekly lounge fix & couldn't believe his ears as Barry did his stuff on Love Serenade. Rabbits & headlights came to mind. Poor Nick, sorry mate. I want to thank you all for the support you've shown me for the show since it started in March with regards to phone calls & emails & of course to the Soul Belly Children on the chat room.
