Curveballs - November 1st 2007 - a busy one...

Tonight was quite a show. There was the dancing with David B beforehand during Soul Inspired. There was the chatroom dare that resulted in me presenting a section of the show topless. There was Curveballs Turbo, which had heavy metal followed by Philip Glass followed by Dean Martin (!). The undoubted stars of the show though, it seemed, were young Rainham trio Understated, whose demo track Fishbowl was played for the first time on radio tonight, prompting more emails to the show than any other track or band has ever managed in the last 7 months! It proved so popular that another 2 tracks from the demo were played in the second hour. With a Creative Sessions appearance already booked, you can expect to hear a lot more from Understated on Phoenix FM very soon.
