Ecce Homo

Rather than give you the playlist this week, I'm firstly going to apologise for the deviation from last weeks playlist; I will attempt to make a mends by playing the missing tracks this week.

I marry my fantastic bird this Sunday so next week I'm on my toes and will leave the show in the more than capable hands of Steve Mead. Be gentle with him....

As announced at the end of last weeks show, due to commitments in the new year I will be unable to continue the magic that is Instrumentalism. As some wags have already commented, this is not the future Mrs Thurlow excersising her matrimonial muscle, its a work thing!

I appreciate that this is a bit early to start writing the obituary of the show, but I want to say a massive thank you to the listeners and the chat room collective that have made this year such an entertaining and enjoyable one.

A special thanks must be mentioned to Gill, Mike, Dougie, Julia and Dac. Your company and wit(?) have kept me endlessly amused. Cheers

Christmas day will be my last show (pre-recorded). I'll be putting together a two hour medley of tunes that meant stuff to me as a kid in an attempt to retain the nostalgia of youth.

In the run up to Christmas I'd like to encourage you all to email me with stuff you'd like to hear over the coming weeks, so use the contact us button at the top of the page and address it for my attention.

See you at 10pm Tuesday!
