Phoenix FM appoints new Youth Programme Controller

Phoenix FM is proud to announce the appointment of Annamarie Patching as Youth Programme Controller.

Annamarie started her involvement with Phoenix FM back in October 2006 when she took part in the station's training sessions. This led to a week's work experience earlier in 2007 which in turn led to support slots throughout the whole summer on daytime programmes, particularly as Gemma's assistant on the breakfast show, Phoenix Rising.

Annamarie said, "Being at Phoenix FM has helped me decide to read media production at university next year, and has also contributed towards my Millennium Volunteer awards.

"I'm delighted to have been appointed as Youth Programme Controller and I'm looking forward to my role. Part of my duties will include working with Essex's youngest presenters on the Monday Madness show, which goes out live every Monday to Brentwood, Billericay and the surrounding areas!"
