Drivetime Show Update+Changes

Just to let you know that there are some changes to the Phoenix FM Drivetime show from today (22nd October).  The last hour from 6pm will be something different each day!

Monday: The Happy Hour - 60 minutes of songs chosen by you - via phone, e-mail or the chatroom. Every song - No exceptions!  From 6pm, I'll be plugging in the portable hard-drive featuring over 9000 songs and inviting you to choose the music... Anything goes: AC/DC, Queen, White Stripes, Oasis, Chaka Demus'n'Pliers, T Rex, Beatles... it's YOUR choice!

Tuesday:  This Internet Hour - songs and tracks pulled off the internet/YouTube/MySpace etc.  Is there a band or producer that's making great sounds and needs some exposure ?

Wednesday: Songs With A Theme - Wednesdays is a bit of fun as we take an hour of tunes with a particular theme: Songs that were one-hit-wonders, or maybe under 2 and a half minutes in length, cover versions etc...

Thursday: to be confirmed.... Something is planned for this day - listen out for more information!

Friday: Thank Charlie It's Friday! - the weekend is nearly here so we play an hour of feelgood weekend tunes to get you ready for 2 days of fun.  Anything goes in this hour: hairbrush hits, movie soundtracks, current dance tracks or classic rock...

Finally...
Being a big fan of the CSI shows, I was intrigued to find out that the Who's Baba O'Riley was not the first choice of song for CSI: New York.  It was, infact, Behind Blue Eyes - and a YouTube user has made a video to show how that track would work with the show...
