Some groovy tunes there! And have you all noticed that most of them come from 1985! Great year for tunes thats all i can say there!
Of course last week i added some memories of the 1980s! Here are some more great memories!

How great, the A-Team! A show that ran from 1983 to 1986, was about a team of ex-United Army Forces that cracked undercover cases. Yes it was a great show, but really, people tuned into see Mr ''I Pity the fool'' T every week!

He was an icon for 1980s kids. (yes really folks!) He released his own albums, singles, toys and even had his own animated tv series (i brought it in a charity shop the other day for £1.99! And i am not ashamed to admit it either!)
Mr T now relaxs in his 20 acre ranch in New Mexico. He no longer has his collection of iconic chains. He once quoted that he no longer wears gold chains as its an''insult to god.'' Hmm yes....

You wondered when i was going to get to these guys weren't you?
Of course its George Micheal & Andrew Ridgley who were part of Pop duo Wham! They were on the UKs hottest bands between 1982 to 1986 and had 10 top 20 hits!
Who can forget those classics like Club Tropicana, Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, I'm Your Man, Young Guns and all the rest of their hits that made Wham just Fantastic! (A title of their first album you know!)
Also their backing duo Pepsi & Shirley (originally Shirley & Dee C Lee. Dee C Lee would go onto sing with Paul Wellers band The Style Council & have a hit of her own See The Day, released in 1985 and reached number 3 in the charts! Girls Aloud recenlty covered this track!...oh yes and Shirley is marriecto Martin Kemp, of Spandau Ballet fame & former Eastenders star Steve Owen!)
Sadly Wham decided to split in 1986, and perfromed their last show at Wembley Stadium. Andrew moved to Cornwall and married a member of Bananrama and George....whatever happened to him?

Shell suits (my family definately owned oneof these babys!) Originally used for sporting activities, people would wear them for everyday use! But not for long though, when it was revealed that the material could burn easily....well it wasn't a crying shame was it....
On that note i will finish this edition of the blog! Remember you can share your 80s requests and memories with us by just either phoning, texting or speaking to moi in the chatroom via the website!
see you next week!
