The Mixtape - 10 April 2007

We were up against the almighty LIFE ON MARS finale tonight, but we soldiered on regardless, safe in the knowledge that there was a little dent in the BBC's viewing figures in the CM14 region.

Most of the music I played tonight was bang up to date with the occasional foray into the early 90s although I was astonished and delighted to see that the memory of bands such as the Blue Aeroplanes and Thousand Yard Stare was being kept alive thanks to the power of Mr Murdoch's mighty Myspace.
