August August August August

Aah August, A month of summer holidays and trips to the beach and icecream and stuff like that. But not this year, ooooh no sir

On Rising though, in spite of the rain, we carried on regardless

I was joined in the studio by Basildon Young Musician of the Year, Kirsten Priddle, who was a very good sport, and wore my guest hat (although she wouldnt let me take photos- boooo!). Its a brilliant hat- its a baseball cap with butterflies, and a yellow veil and sparkly stuff on it. Brilliant. We also had Nigel and Sarah from the Hair Company, and spent an enjoyable hour chatting about the perils of home dyeing kits, naughty trainees and how Nigel was aspiring to be a rock star from the seventies.

I also went out with Brentwood Police on a raid- That was very exciting. There was police dogs, and flashiing lights and best of all, they caught the bad guys! It was all part of a massive operation across Essex and Havering, called OPeration Racketeer- On the evening I went out, about 8 raids were carried out, resulting in 13 arrests and a lot of drugs and dodgy money being seized- Marvellous- the streets of Brentwood are a little bit safer!

Anna and I also had a rather enjoyable week with our patented '7 o Clock Sequence Dancing', where we played a song at 7 o clock that involved a routine. My own personal favourite was Black Lace's Superman (Im so cool!)

Album of the week-wise, you missed out on
Stevie Wonder- Innervisions
Michael Jackson- Thriller
The Fine Young Cannibals- The Raw and the Cooked

Taaaadaaaaaa!
