The Saturday Playlist

I was really looking forward to this show and it didn't dissapoint....My special guest in the studio were Mensah, his brother Kwame and Mark who are three quarters of the band THE THIRST....unfortunetly for me and the guys they ended up in traffic and arrived at the studio with minutes to spare meaning we had to scrap the acoustic set and settle for the questions instead...But dont fear people...the guys have promised they will back at Phoenix FM towers in the very near future so stay tuned for that!!!

I was also on form with the tracks if I do say so myself.....(nothing wrong in being modest haha) and played 'I Shall Overcome' a new track of the forthcoming HardFi album. Also brought you:

I also had a rant about the eventual end of this years BIG BROTHER and spoke about my experiences at the festival I attended last weekend.

I also choked at one point which was very strange !!!

I went straight down to the Bitter End in Romford straight after the show to watch Paul Coogan do the soundcheck...I stood there pretending to know what I was doing.....and it worked.....I got two free glasses of Coke and one Orange Juice...SCORE. The Baddies were brilliant on the night and The Thirst were out of this world...with the lead singer Mensah being mobbed by the local drunkards of Romford at the end of the set....

So I've had a good weekend at Phoenix.... okay I will stop typing now...this is addictive eh haha!!!
