Julyyyyyy- It was supposedly the summer....

Well July went a bit quickly didn't it??- Mainly because I was sunning myself in Turkey for about a week of it, while the rest of you luxuriated in the puddle that was England....

But what happened on Rising... well, while I was actually here, I had these albums of the week:
David Bowie- The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars
Razorlight- Up All NightThere was another one, but if I'm being brutally honest (and I do like to be honest occasionally),  I forgot to write down what it was, and I've forgotten now...sorry!

Guest-wise, I invited local band, Blind Vision into the studio for a cup of tea and a couple of songs; and had a natter to Owen Ward who was presenting on Promise FM, which was a part of the World Scout Jamboree, taking place in Hylands Park, Chelmsford (mainly about Acoustic Sounds presenter Jennie Hornsby and how much she snores in the tent next to him).

Actually, me and my lovely new assistant, Anna, who is keeping me sane over the summer, took a little trip over to the Jamboree to see what was happening- There's a whole page of pictures and interviews and stuff, so why don't you go and have a looky

Oh, I also made a brilliant hat, which I'm hoping to persuade some guests to wear in the future- Hoorah!

What else.... oh, I threw a cup of coffee on myself, and managed to look like a complete plum by deciding that Mars can only be about...oooh, 8 hours away by space ship. Idiot

All in a month on Phoenix Rising!
